You are correct, you get the 6ghz band that can be used for more speed or a duplex connection. So your device could send and receive at once, like Ethernet. So thats the reasons I've commonly seen for using unifi. For a lot of old houses, without ethernet runs, its expensive to get ethernet runs around the house. For APs or anything. In that instance, it makes a lot of sense to go with a mesh network. And I think it bears mentioning, that ubiquiti APs are mesh compatible.Way more than 10k home setup. 3 years ago, my wife complained about our wifi being trash.
